Job Summary
Drive Lifeworks van to transport individuals with developmental disabilities from homes to worksites and recreational activities. Operate the vehicle safely and legally, maintain safety and cleanliness, and report all maintenance needs immediately. Supervise passenger safety by ensuring seat belt use and securing wheelchairs to restraints. Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle while communicating effectively with staff and families. Submit required documentation including weekly time sheets, vehicle maintenance reports, and attendance records. Attend transportation meetings and in-service trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check
- Must be able to pass CORI background check
- Must be able to pass DPPC background check
- Must be able to pass Driving background check
- Valid Driver's License

- Experience driving vans
