Job Summary
Van Aide assists with transporting individuals from their homes to day program locations, supporting the Van Driver by monitoring passengers, loading/unloading, and ensuring seatbelts and safety equipment are used. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and caregivers, promoting safety during transit, following applicable safety regulations and Maryland laws, reporting safety concerns to the transportation coordinator, completing incident forms when needed, participating in training, and performing other duties as assigned to support the transportation program. Preferred trainings include Mandt Systems Training, CPR/First Aid, MTTP; experience with IDD/DD is desirable but not required.
