Job Summary
Senior Valve Technician to service Cla-Val automatic control valves in municipal water systems. Responsibilities include field service to inspect, repair, rebuild, maintain, and replace Cla-Val valves; troubleshoot complex hydraulics issues in municipal water systems; manage valve operations to avoid failures; maintain accurate service documentation; communicate with customers and internal managers; mentor junior technicians and serve as the regional expert on control valves.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of valve service experience with brands (Cla-Val, Bermad Water Control Solutions, Singer Valve (Mueller Water Products), Ross Controls and GA Industries)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics in water systems and valve system operations
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Cla-Val valves independently in the field
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications in valve maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in variable environmental conditions (field-based role)
