Job Summary
Valve Technician for Stream-Flo’s AfterMarket Services in Edmonton, AB. Repair, tear down/reassemble, and troubleshoot valve equipment to meet company standards; test, grease, inspect, and stamp valves; calibrate and function test choke valves and various pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric positioners; maintain accurate documentation and work area; occasional yard maintenance; indoor shop environment with opportunity for overtime; high school diploma preferred and training provided for valve repair; strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools; forklift experience is a plus; collaborative team-focused role in the oil and gas industry.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Related valve repair, rebuild, and/or teardown experience is an asset, but training is provided
- Basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality
- Strong mechanical aptitude
