Job Summary
Dismantle, clean, inspect, repair, sanitize, and replace valves in commercial or industrial establishments. Complete preventive maintenance schedules and maintain daily production standards. Perform tasks while adhering to safety protocols, handling wet, humid, and cold conditions alongside exposure to moving mechanical parts and caustic chemicals. Lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work atop ladders as required. This role operates on the 3rd shift (Sunday 8:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am) with overtime available based on production needs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds 100-200 times during the shift
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to work atop a ladder
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
