Value Stream Process Engineer

Job Summary
Own manufacturing process performance within the B-Series Value Stream by monitoring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Identify constraints, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to lead Kaizen activities that improve flow, throughput, and lead time. Establish and maintain standard work, visual management systems, and documented work instructions while conducting root cause investigations using 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and A3 Problem Solving. Observe processes on the production floor, resolve issues, and optimize workstation design, tooling, and line balancing. Partner with Product Specialists, Quality Engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, support new product introductions, and ensure processes meet customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or Continuous Improvement role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong Analytical and data-driven decision making
- Strong understanding of: Manufacturing processes (machining, casting, assembly, etc.)
- Strong understanding of: Production systems
- Experience with: Developing Standard work
- Experience with: Work Instructions
- Experience with: Process Documentation
- Experience with: Leading Kaizen
- Experience with: Problem Solving
- Experience with: 2D and 3D CAD softwares (AutoCad, Creo, and Solidworks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
- Experience working cross-functionally in a manufacturing or value stream environment
