Job Summary
Define and optimize value streams to improve flow, reduce lead times, and enhance quality. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives while establishing and monitoring key performance indicators. Develop strategic plans aligned with business objectives, manage resource allocation and budgets, and foster a culture of problem-solving. Collaborate with product development and sales to ensure customer requirements are met within the value stream. This role supports organizations in Walker, MI committed to building strong teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and value stream mapping
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
- Experience with change management methodologies
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing tools and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Proven ability to mentor and coach teams in continuous improvement
