Job Summary
Value Stream Manager II leading a cross-functional team to execute the Annual Operating Plan with focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Growth. Drives long-term financial performance, establishes a strategic future state, and implements continuous improvement roadmaps. Champions kaizen events, lean practices, and a culture of accountability; mentors associates; participates in budget and capital planning; prepares performance summaries for executive leadership and customers; ensures OSHA compliance and CBS initiatives; role located at Crane A&E’s Burbank manufacturing site with heavy emphasis on manufacturing excellence and operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting operations
- 3+ years of supervision
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, cost optimization, strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources
- Experience with kaizen events, continuous improvement, 5S, standard work, problem solving
- Ability to prepare and present performance summaries to executives and customers
- Ability to work in a environment with OSHA compliance and ITAR/FAA-related considerations
- Eligible for work in the United States (US Persons)
