Job Summary
Value Stream Leader responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial processes, coordinating between engineering, manufacturing, and sales to meet production targets, and applying Lean practices (5S, kaizen, value stream mapping). Will develop procedures, work instructions, drawings, BOMs, and inspection sheets; solicit feedback to identify improvement opportunities; analyze utilization with statistical methods; coordinate material flow with suppliers; prepare production schedules and monitor progress; design equipment layouts for maximum efficiency; requires SolidWorks proficiency and ERP/MRP knowledge; offers benefits, profit sharing, RRSP matching, and extensive training; role based in Brantford, Ontario, with in-person duties, daytime day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical Technician / Technologist Program or Material / Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Project Management Courses considered an asset
- Experience in SolidWorks suite of products
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Experience with designing jigs and fixtures would be an asset
