Job Summary
Lead the Surface Mount Technology value stream with end-to-end responsibility for front-end processes, production scheduling, capacity and workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Drive continuous improvement using Lean, CORE methodologies, and other best practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. Manage and develop a high-performing team of operators, engineers, and technical staff; monitor KPIs such as safety, on-time delivery, yield, cycle time, COPQ, and customer satisfaction; partner with engineering, production control, quality, and other teams to resolve issues and drive innovation. Interface with internal customers, oversee growth through process migration and new capital releases, and ensure alignment to strategic objectives and customer commitments. Prior experience with aerospace/defense standards and back-end semiconductor manufacturing processes (assembly, packaging, testing) is preferred. Proficient in data analysis, ERP/MRP systems, and production planning software; strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; EVMS certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or 5 years with advanced degree
- Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, Program and/or project management
