Value-Add Utility - 2nd Shift

Value-Add Utility team member responsible for supporting multiple stages of production by preparing castings for customization and OEM work, performing finishing and seasoning, assembly, and packaging to ensure Lodge products meet quality standards. Requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, sorting, staging castings; evaluating quality; grinding, polishing, deburring, and finishing; operating finishing equipment; oil application and oven-curing processes; monitoring oven timing and safe material handling; drilling castings and assembling components; polishing components; packing finished goods according to specifications; conducting final quality inspections; following labeling, stacking, palletizing, and shipment procedures; working independently with minimal supervision; communicating with team and quality personnel; participating in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities; maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong attention to detail, and ability to work safely in a manufacturing setting; teamwork and adherence to work instructions emphasized.
