Job Summary
Value-Add Technician on 1st shift supports final-stage production by independently operating CNC equipment, assisting in seasoning for cast iron cookware, and preparing finished products for packaging and shipment. Requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with team and quality personnel. Key duties include operating CNC lathes and mills, loading part files and making minor program adjustments, tooling inspections and offsets, machine setups and preventive maintenance, oil application and oven-curing processes, ensuring finish and branding quality, labeling and packaging finished goods, performing final quality inspections, and following shipment preparation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to load CNC files and make basic machine adjustments (including offsets and file selection)
- Working knowledge of Windows-based computer systems and file management
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in a manufacturing environment
- Successful completion of the Quality Assurance Test
