Job Summary
Support the onboarding of assets onto a new valuation platform, ensuring data integrity and methodological accuracy. Review and validate platform outputs to identify discrepancies, serving as a hands-on tester to provide structured feedback on functionality and workflows. Act as a user advocate for valuation practitioners, representing their needs in design decisions while promoting adoption among the user base to drive engagement. Partner with technical and product teams to translate valuation requirements into platform capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of valuation expertise and technology adoption, focused on championing the platform across its user base during its rollout and ongoing development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on valuation experience in privately held companies
- demonstrable track record (valuations performed, asset types and sectors covered, etc.)
- Strong command of private company valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and peer/comparable company analysis
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
Desired Qualifications
- Formal finance and/or accounting background or qualifications preferred
- Familiarity with how Private Equity and Venture Capital investors approach company valuation
