Job Summary
Review various valuation reports including Appraisal Reports, Field Reviews, Desk Reviews, ARRs, and BPOs. Analyze and evaluate collateral for lending by examining high-value and high-risk properties against company risk compliance. Research property data covering market, sales, rent, and regional details to communicate concerns related to collateral and value. Resolve questions or problems with multiple departments and make value recommendations. Perform administrative directed audit functions as assigned. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, four to five years of relevant experience, and familiarity with real estate valuation methodology. The position is hourly with a rate between $60,000 and $75,000. Located in Irvine, California, the team supports Acra Lending's mission to provide Non-QM mortgage solutions across 39 states.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience performing real estate valuation reviews and/or a previous audit support role
- Experience in the Mortgage or Banking industry
- Comprehensive understanding of real estate valuation methodology and concepts
- Familiar with researching property and zoning details via online websites (County, City, State, GIS Maps, private data sources, etc.)
- Plat Map, Survey, Legal Description, and Title Review
- Flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs required
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
