Valuation Controls Associate role within the Valuation Control Group focusing on price verification/benchmark processes for fixed-income instruments (investment-grade/high-yield bonds, bank/leveraged loans, private placements, municipal bonds) and enhancing the control framework through collaboration with business, risk, and finance teams; requires understanding of valuation concepts, analytics, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with finance and economics major preferred
- 3+ years of related experience in fixed-income valuation
- Understanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives, basic accounting knowledge
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude. Candidates with quantitative backgrounds preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
- CFA certification a is a plus
