Job Summary
Execute price verification and benchmark processes, including the calculation of fair value adjustments. Partner with functional groups to develop measures ensuring fair value while assisting with VCG established practices, control initiatives, and management reporting. Enhance the existing control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes, assessing coverage developments, and implementing new tools for efficiency. Lead other value-added projects related to Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives. Requires 3+ years of experience, strong analytical aptitude, and proficiency in SQL, Python, or advanced Excel. Located in the financial industry with a focus on derivatives and complex products.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience
- Ability to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flows
- Understanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives, basic accounting knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with finance and economics major preferred
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude. Candidates with quantitative backgrounds preferred
- Graduate degree with finance, economics, mathematics, engineering a plus
- Work experience in financial industry a plus
- Experience with Python, DBx, SQL, SIGMA, AI Agents, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, automation and database skills a plus
