Job Summary
Valuation Controller in the Valuation Control Group responsible for building out the framework for Private Credit valuation, executing price verification and benchmarking for products including direct lending and non-public credit instruments, partnering with Trading/Quant/Risk/Finance to resolve issues, presenting findings to senior management, and collaborating with Quant and Technology to automate valuation. The role emphasizes improving controls, evaluating borrowers when needed, and aligning valuation practices with regulatory standards, with collaboration across global VCG teams to support broader initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Experience in financial product valuation, including credit analysis and/or valuation of loans and fixed income products
- Proven ability to implement change and/or lead the build out of new control frameworks
- Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with valuation software and data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
