Job Summary
Valuation Controller role in the Valuation Control Group (NA Rates) based in New York. Responsible for independent price verification and fair value adjustment processes across the Global Rates portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance valuation control frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include executing price verification/benchmarking, supporting management reporting and regulatory mandates, enhancing control frameworks, reviewing pricing processes, and driving value-added projects for Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives. Requires 7+ years of related experience, ability to understand complex products and derivatives, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, automation, and databases. Education: undergraduate degree preferred; graduate degree a plus; quantitative backgrounds preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of related experience
- Ability to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flows
- Understanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives, basic accounting knowledge
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
