Valuation Controller in the VCG Rates team based in NY performing independent price verification and fair value adjustments across Global Rates portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance valuation control frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flows
- Understanding of valuation concepts as they pertain to financial products and derivatives, basic accounting knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Undergraduate degree with finance and economics major preferred
- Graduate degree with finance, economics, mathematics, engineering a plus
- Work experience in financial industry a plus
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude
- Experience with Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, automation and database skills a plus
