Job Summary
Review and oversee fair value adjustments, independent price verification, and prudent valuation adjustments across the XVA business. Lead valuation methodology discussions to drive global alignment and continuous process enhancement. Serve as the primary contact for the XVA trading team and stakeholders across front office, risk, operations, and finance. Drive implementation of valuation changes and collaborate with asset class teams to improve consistency and control effectiveness. Identify and champion process improvements that strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and audit findings. This role sits at the heart of valuation governance within a leading global financial services organization recognized for rigorous frameworks and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in finance, economics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related discipline
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and valuation methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage relationships with multiple senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Self-motivated, ambitious and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- VBA, Access or SQL knowledge
- CFA or FRM qualification
