Job Summary
Valuation Analyst II conducts more complex appraisal reviews and independent valuations using market data, financial models, and industry methodologies. Responsibilities include reviewing real estate appraisals for accuracy and regulatory compliance, identifying risks, collaborating with appraisers and lenders, conducting market research to support valuation conclusions and risk assessments, and assisting in training junior analysts and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate appraisal, valuation review, or financial analysis
- Familiarity with USPAP and FIRREA
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
