Job Summary
Valmark Service Center Intern supports senior planners with day-to-day workflows including case implementation, servicing, and research for ongoing projects. You will develop expertise in Valmark’s Service Center processes, understand financial instruments (ETFs, mutual funds, life insurance, annuities), assist with initial plan implementation, recommendations, and reviews, gather information from various sources, prepare annuity proposals to support case design, update advisor-facing and client-facing material, and assist with Service Center research in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates are curious, eager to learn, receptive to feedback, optimistic, team-oriented, with problem solving, creative thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Currently enrolled pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Availability to work onsite in Akron, OH: 16–24 hours per week during spring and fall semester; 30–40 hours per week during summer months
