Valley View Elementary - PT Elementary Aide (28837)

Valley View Elementary PT Elementary Aide assists teachers in instruction and supervision of students, with emphasis on Reading Intervention and Lunchroom/Recess Supervision. The role supports delivering targeted reading interventions, monitoring progress, and maintaining data, while also providing supervision and behavior management during lunch/recess. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, tutoring students in small groups or one-on-one, assisting with IEP/BIP guidance, administering reading assessments, communicating with teachers and parents, and participating in professional development. This paraprofessional position is 5 hours per day, 180 days per year, funded by grants/enrollment and is located on-site at Weber School District facilities in Roy, Utah. Attendance and timely presence are essential, with potential duties expanding to additional instructional or supervisory activities as needs evolve. Minimum qualification: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to work assigned hours and support a positive learning environment.
