Job Summary
Valley View's Ortho Clinic is seeking an RN Navigator to support orthopedic clinic and operating room functions, including surgical scheduling, patient education, coordination with clinic schedulers, and procedural assistance. Acts as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers to empower patients in dealing with their disease and treatment; facilitates appointments in diagnostic procedures across laboratory, imaging, surgery, and specialty areas; delivers individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and provides access to resources. Requires Colorado RN license (or ability to obtain), nursing program graduation, 1 year RN experience, and BLS card; salary range $43.22-$64.83/hour with entry dependent on education/experience; includes comprehensive benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
- Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- 1 year of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS per American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date
- Ortho or Surgical RN experience
- Ability to form strong alliances with referral and resource agencies in the community
- Ability to provide holistic care with education and information about illness
