Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to the dialysis patient population using the nursing process to plan and deliver effective care within the Texas Nursing Practice Act. Function as a Charge Nurse in the Dialysis Unit when assigned, maintaining accountability to the unit supervisor while adhering to established standards of practice and ethical guidelines. Maintain current competence in dialysis skills and complete required specialty courses and certifications within specified time frames.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of two years' experience in dialysis
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Advanced Specialty Courses (ASC)
- National Certification in specialty
