Validation Software Analyst

Job Summary
Develop and review plans, reports, and documentation to ensure system and software compliance with requirements and design specifications. Execute verification and validation activities by analyzing source code, reviewing design and test outputs, and performing detailed performance analyses to produce actionable insights. Support automation platforms by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins using languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Record and close defects, perform remediations, and participate in customer meetings and walkthroughs. Maintain structural repositories and configure hardware and operating environments as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience, Secret clearance, and 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science degree in computer science or related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation
- Strong programming skills in software languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Html, and MatLab
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Validation and Verification testing and analysis
- Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete analysis
- Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, and software requirement
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies
- Good organizational skills in keeping structural repositories (GIT, SharePoint)
- Experience with automated testing environment, frameworks, and programming languages
- MIL-STD- or other software standards
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience reviewing requirements, design, and CDRLs documents such as: Software Requirement Specification (SRS), and Software Design Description (SDD), etc.
- Experience with requirements and traceability analysis and management
