Job Summary
Review financial information for accuracy, identify discrepancies before final processing, and make corrections when necessary. Complete varying volumes of work efficiently within established timeframes while following all security, privacy, and compliance policies. Use company systems to support timely transaction processing and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Requires strong data entry skills, 10-key experience, and knowledge of MICR information. Flexible, rotating schedule including weekends and holidays at a premium rate.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be available to work a flexible, rotating schedule, including some weekends and holidays as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills; 10-key experience is preferred
- Knowledge of MICR information and different check types is a plus
- Basic working knowledge of computers and Windows applications
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and procedures quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume or stressful situations
- Ability to multitask and move efficiently between different queues and assignments
- Ability to work independently while recognizing when guidance or assistance is needed
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Banking, check-cashing, financial services, or related experience is a strong plus
