Validation Engineer

Job Summary
Lead the SW validation and testing of complex multidisciplinary systems, including advanced algorithms and software that coordinates with optics, scanning electron microscopes, lasers and motion systems. Collaborate with product managers, field engineers and architects to develop a prioritized test plan that addresses technical challenges while meeting customer needs and release timelines. Perform application testing (including web interfaces and microservices) to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability across distributed components. Conduct testing and troubleshooting at multiple complexity levels and contribute to automation development and automatic tests. Review specifications to ensure clarity for the development team and influence coverage planning.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
- 5+ years of proven QA or validation experience in multidisciplinary systems R&D
- Experience leading holistic quality of complex domains
- Excellent collaboration capabilities across disciplines
- Experience with event-driven systems and micro-services architecture – Advantage
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies – Advantage
- FAB work experience – Advantage
- Strong English communication skills
