Job Summary
Lead end-to-end validation strategy, architecture, and execution for next-generation SSD platforms (data center and enterprise). Define scalable validation frameworks, drive cross-functional collaboration across hardware, firmware, and quality teams, and use data-driven insights to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance from silicon to system integration. Requires deep SSD/NVMe expertise, proficiency with validation tools and automation, and strong communication; hybrid work near a Solidigm office with potential travel for cross-site validation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in validation, verification, or system engineering within semiconductor, storage, or related industries
- Proven experience defining validation strategies for complex hardware/software systems
- Strong understanding of SSD architecture, NAND technologies, and storage systems
- Experience with validation tools, scripting, and automation frameworks (e.g., Python, C/C++, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in debugging complex system-level issues and root cause analysis
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to senior stakeholders
- English proficiency
