Job Summary
Greet guests at the front door, escort them to rooms, and assist with luggage loading, unloading, and storage. Coordinate shuttle, golf cart, and private transfer operations while maintaining vehicle safety and scheduling. Support front desk check-ins and check-outs, answer guest requests, and report hazards in the lobby and guest pathways. Perform general cleaning tasks in public areas and uphold service standards by listening to guest and employee concerns. Maintain personal appearance and adhere to all hotel policies, safety regulations, and Fire Department codes.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (GED) education
- Valid US driver's license
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office 365)
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours or more
- Ability to bend, squat and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Ability to maneuver carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; however, must be able to work in extreme temperatures, i.e. The Front Drive (-2°F) or Golfcart operations (+90°F),possibly for one hour or more
- Ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment
- Ability to communicate with others
- Ability to effectively handle/ assist customers
- Ability to accept constructive criticism from supervisors
- Ability to comply, on a consistent basis, with all Fire Department Safety codes and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to perform any general cleaning tasks in public areas using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
