Job Summary
Press and finish guest garments and hotel linens according to established standards, handling delicate fabrics with care and inspecting items for stains or special instructions before pressing. Operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area. Ensure timely return of garments to meet guest expectations by verifying standards before delivery and following proper tagging procedures to prevent mix-ups. Report equipment malfunctions promptly and perform other duties as assigned, including lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be guest-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate pressing techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six (6) months of experience in a Dry-Cleaning operation and/or high-volume laundry operation is preferred
