Job Summary
Oversee daily valet operations including vehicle intake, parking, retrieval, staging, key control, and driveway traffic flow while maintaining safe, efficient, and professional standards. Lead, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure consistent service and operational efficiency, conducting shift briefings to communicate occupancy, VIP arrivals, and safety reminders. Monitor staffing levels based on hotel occupancy, group arrivals, events, and forecasted demand to support labor control. Respond promptly to guest concerns, service delays, vehicle damage claims, and escalated situations while maintaining accurate records for tickets, keys, revenue, and incidents. Partner with hotel departments to coordinate traffic, group movements, and special events, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of valet, parking, transportation, hospitality, or guest service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate a wide range of guest vehicles
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull luggage and guest belongings as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, jog, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, wind, and humidity
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, overnight shifts, and high-demand event periods
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
- Hospitality, business, or operations coursework
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Forbes Travel training
- Strong knowledge of guest service standards in a luxury, full-service, or high-volume hotel environment
- Ability to be a self-motivator and problem solver
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to exceptional guest service
- Ability to make quick decisions while maintaining safety, service quality, and operational control

- Comfortable using parking systems, mobile devices, radios, ticketing tools, and basic reporting systems
