Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival and provide customer service excellence by parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage, and directing traffic in the parking area. Collect and accurately label keys, park vehicles in predetermined areas following traffic laws, and operate vehicles safely. Maintain lobby, front door, valet stand, and luggage room cleanliness while issuing proper luggage tags and ensuring deliveries reach correct rooms. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures. Work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires a Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- An experienced professional with a minimum of one year of experience as a parking attendant in a similar operation or hotel property
- Someone with a class 5 driver's license and ability to drive both a manual and automatic transmission
- The holder of a clean driver's abstract
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physically able to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more
- Able to accurately give directions and information regarding the immediate and metro areas
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures
- Practice safety standards at all times, leading by example
