Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, park and retrieve vehicles, and provide luggage service while directing traffic in the parking area. Open doors, assist with heavy items, and collect and label keys to ensure proper return. Operate vehicles safely, maintain cleanliness of the lobby and valet stand, and market the hotel by sharing amenities and local attractions. Issue luggage tags, store bags securely, and ensure deliveries reach correct rooms. Demonstrate readiness to help, give directions, and follow all safety standards and emergency procedures. Requires a Class 5 driver's license, clean abstract, and ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- An experienced professional with a minimum of one year of experience as a parking attendant in a similar operation or hotel property
- Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, and a strong commitment to Safety
- Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty
- Someone with a class 5 driver's license and ability to drive both a manual and automatic transmission
- The holder of a clean driver's abstract
- An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot and resolve situations efficiently
- Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- An excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Physically able to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more
