Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Valet Department during a shift, directing work, appraising performance, and resolving problems for Valet Attendants. Directly and through subordinates, park and retrieve automobiles for casino guests while ensuring friendly, courteous service and promptly resolving complaints. Receive and return vehicles from guests, maintain security and accountability for claim checks and keys, and ensure all transactions are processed through the POS system. Assist the Transportation Manager with policy administration, departmental paperwork, and personnel issues. May be assigned to a Valet Bank. Requires a valid California Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to work in smoke-filled environments, extreme weather, and stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year supervisory experience
- 3 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must have a valid California Drivers License
- good driving record
- Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include hot and cold weather
