Job Summary
Greet and welcome all guests, then safely park and retrieve their vehicles while ensuring professionalism at all times. Assist guests promptly with check-in and check-out procedures, open doors, and visually inspect vehicles for damage before moving them. Deliver and retrieve vehicles quickly, obeying all traffic laws, and secure cars by locking doors and windows. Answer guest questions regarding valet, hotel registration, casino events, and facilities. Transport luggage, strollers, and wheelchairs to and from vehicles, direct self-parking guests, and maintain proper traffic flow. Uphold work station cleanliness, report safety incidents, and prepare requisitions for supplies.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- cooperative and friendly nature
- ability to communicate and follow directions effectively
- valid California driver's license and a Black Oak Casino driver's permit
- ability to communicate using 2-way radios and/or cell phones
- ability to understand and carry out instructions in written or oral form
- working knowledge of computer programs and applications
- ability to utilize advance cellular technology
- ability to drive vehicles of various makes and models
- neat and professional appearance that is in compliance with Black Oak Casino policies
- at least 18 years of age
- ability to pass a mandatory drug test
- valid gaming license
- evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- ability to communicate proficiently in English
- ability to perform all job requirements
- ability to lift 50 lbs and occasionally more with assistance
- ability to wear protective equipment such as mask, earplugs, gloves, eyewear, weather gear, etc.
- ability to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to vibration, dust, gas, steam or chemicals
- ability to work in a non-smoke free environment
- ability to work in a noisy environment
- ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events
- ability to work outside in all weather conditions
