Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and pick-up during arrival and departure. Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests and provide directions, taxi information, and local amenities. Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested. Shuttles guests to approved locations. Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival. Issue claim checks only after receiving keys and collect fees prior to issuing keys. Maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, folios, damage surveys, and claim receipts. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
