Job Summary
Inspect every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings. Explain valet rates to customers and quickly respond to their questions. Observe traffic laws, report accidents or hazards, and provide directions using knowledge of local streets and landmarks. Come to work in your clean uniform on time, remain fully uniformed throughout the overnight shift, and assist management with assigned duties. This role involves driving a manual transmission vehicle with a valid license and clean record. Located in Washington, DC, this position offers a starting salary of $19.00 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for career growth within SP+, the largest parking network in America.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state driver's license
- Current address
- Acceptable driving record
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends)
- The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints
- The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency
- The ability to comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- The ability to calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working
