Job Summary
Valet Dispatcher-Cashier who processes transactions for valet parking and scooter/wheelchair rentals, may file guest keys and parking tickets to ensure efficient retrieval of guest vehicles, and may assist with parking vehicles or greeting patrons. Maintain cash-handling accuracy, balance the cash drawer, settle patron checks using the resort POS system, and ensure compliance with information security policies. Provide exceptional customer service, uphold policy and guidelines, participate in required trainings within nine months, and adapt to a 24-hour schedule as needed. Strong math, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six (6) months of previous cashier or money handling experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of start-up and close-down of cash registers preferred
- Good math skills required
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license if required to drive for SGC business
- Ability to drive different types and sizes of vehicles preferred
