Valet Attendant

Job Summary
Provide professional parking and vehicle retrieval services for The Jefferson Hotel’s valet team. Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, safely park and retrieve guest vehicles (including luxury models), assist with opening doors and light luggage, record vehicle and guest information accurately, conduct visual inspections for pre-existing damage, handle keys and guest property with discretion, maintain an organized valet area, follow all safety protocols, and support overall traffic flow and team operations to ensure a seamless arrival experience. Requires a Virginia driver’s license with a clean record, ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions, strong customer-service orientation, polished appearance, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License with an excellent driving record
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (including luxury models)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to consistent attendance
