Seasonal valet attendant at Balboa Bay Resort, Newport Beach, responsible for greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, driving shuttle as needed, assisting with luggage, maintaining safety and security, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring high level of service; requires valid driver's license, ability to drive manual transmission, strong communication, math skills, and professional demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to drive a manual transmission and a variety of vehicle types
- Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing with appropriate class for vehicle (Class B if shuttle)
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to learn and use hotel telephone and computer systems
- Ability to follow safety rules and PPE requirements
- Availability to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends
- Knowledge of parking procedures and safe vehicle handling
