Job Summary
Greet customers, transport luggage between vehicles and guest rooms, and park or retrieve passenger cars while maintaining a seamless service experience. Accurately complete luggage tags and valet tickets by inspecting vehicles for prior damage, then answer valet phones and respond to luggage room calls or expedited car retrieval requests from Casino Operations. Practice lateral service by stepping out of your normal job description to help guests and coworkers, which includes driving shuttles and working in the coat check. Consistently maintain an upbeat attitude, practice a sense of urgency throughout your shift, and adhere to regulatory, safety, and company policies including Department of Transportation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Six months' experience in customer service field
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Obtain and maintain valid state responsible vendor permit
- Must be able to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be fluent and literate in English
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights
- Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
