Job Summary
Greet guests within five feet, acknowledge them by name, and welcome them using the day's salutation. Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, opening doors and assisting with bell services and luggage storage. Deliver messages, items, and amenities as requested, and provide directions, taxi information, and facility amenities. Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue claim checks only after receiving keys, and collect revenue. Maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, folios, and damage surveys. Work Monday through Friday, 16–24 hours per week, with no weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work (as applicable)
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 16-24 hours per week
- No weekends
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
