Job Summary
The Heathman Hotel seeks a warm, professional Valet Attendant to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, assist with luggage and transportation needs, and deliver attentive service. Responsibilities include maintaining the valet stand area, opening doors, keeping accurate records of keys and tickets, following safety procedures, and supporting bell/front desk teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Key capabilities include driving (automatic and manual), a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, reliability, punctuality, flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays), strong communication, and a courteous, service-oriented presence. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and hospitality in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous valet, guest services, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, run short distances, bend, and move for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and guest service skills
