Job Summary
Greet guests within five feet using their last names and a professional demeanor, then park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and opening doors, while explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival. Deliver messages, amenities, and directions, and calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate ticket information, including key tags and damage surveys, and issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys. Perform parallel parking and operate a manual transmission if available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
