Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assisting guests with bell services, luggage delivery, and opening doors. Greet guests within five feet using their last names and the salutation of the day, while explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures. Deliver messages, shuttle guests to approved locations, and collect claim checks before issuing keys. Maintain ticket information including key tags, damage surveys, and folio details, calculating and collecting revenue as needed. Work Monday through Sunday with a base pay of $17 to $18 per hour plus tips and a $1 shift differential for overnight shifts. A valid driver's license and ability to operate a manual transmission are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- The majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift
- Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
