Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate will provide hospitality-focused valet services at Towne Park, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and helping guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries. Responsibilities include greeting guests professionally, managing ticketing and key/tag processes, explaining parking rates, delivering guest amenities, and shuttling guests as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least one month of related experience or training; must demonstrate strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to read and speak English clearly. The role is part-time with outdoor working conditions and potential for irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, with physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One (1) month related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Skills: Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
