Job Summary
Park and retrieve customer vehicles safely and timely while controlling traffic on the drive to ensure a smooth flow. Assist customers and passengers in and out of their vehicles, including handling luggage and personal items. Maintain an orderly valet stand free of debris, trash, and unapproved posters, and verify supplies at the start of each shift. Place numbered tickets on windshields, issue claim tickets, and complete end-of-shift documentation and transfer keys to the next shift. Notify management of situations requiring attention and complete customer damage reports with the Claims Department. Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional uniform, and provide the required company greeting and service standards to every customer.
Required Qualifications
- A high school degree
- One-year related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
Desired Qualifications
- Background in the service industry
- Thorough knowledge of the major streets, local landmarks and highway entrances in the geographical area around the facility
