Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt, safe manner while maintaining a friendly demeanor and greeting guests within five feet. Assist guests with luggage delivery, pick-up, bell services, and door opening. Provide directions, handle taxi and reservation inquiries, and deliver messages or amenities as requested. Manage parking retrieval procedures, issue claim checks after receiving keys, and calculate revenue for vehicles. Complete all ticket information including key tags, damage surveys, and folio entries. Work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm shifts with an average of $25-$75 in tips per shift. A valid driver's license and manual transmission operation skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- One (1) month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Travel of up to 5% may be required
