Job Summary
Meet and greet arriving and departing members and guests while parking and retrieving vehicles, golf carts, and bags in specified areas. Drive transit vans to transport passengers onsite or to offsite locations, including airport transfers, adhering to department policies. Perform vehicle maintenance checks on tires, brakes, and safety equipment, and maintain clean, stocked club vehicles. Partner with F&B staff on reservations and log all vehicle and passenger movements. Report to work for shifts exceeding eight hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, at The Madison Club within Discovery Land Company's portfolio of private residential communities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Driver's license or International Equivalent
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- At least six (6) months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club
- Proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles
- Driving record that meets the Club's insurance requirements
- Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length due to business demands
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment
